How do I buy Vodacom Data Bundles

Prepaid and Top Up customers

Buy a Once-off Data Bundle from your cellphone with Prepaid airtime – If you are a Prepaid or Top Up customer.
The following channels are available for you to purchase Once-off Data Bundles.
SMS: Send an SMS from your cellphone or Vodafone Mobile Broadband Connection Manager with the Data Bundle size you want to buy to 100 (FREE) e.g. If you want to buy a MyMeg 250 Data Bundle, SMS "MyMeg 250" to 100.
 
On this website: Login to the website. Remember to enter the cellphone number you want to buy the Data Bundle for. Once you have logged in, move your cursor over your name in the top right corner of the website and you will find a link to 'Purchase Data Bundles' under 'Useful links'.
On a cellphone: Dial *111# dial and follow the menu prompts or options.
 
Purchase Data Bundles at Banks: Selected bank offer Data Bundles via their ATM's or internet banking. The value of the Data Bundle you choose will be credited directly to the cellphone number entered.


Prepaid customers

A Once-off or Month-to-Month recurring Data Bundle that you can buy from your Prepaid airtime
Recurring Prepaid Data Bundles purchased or allocated is valid until the last calendar day of the next month, e.g. If you buy a MyMeg 300 Data Bundle on 10 November then the unused data will be carried over until 31 December. Any unused data not used by 31 December will expire. Any carried-over megabytes will only be used after the recurring monthly Data Bundle allocation has been depleted.
 
The following channels are available for you to purchase Once-off or Month-to-Month Recurring Data Bundles when needed.
On a cellphone: Dial *111# dial and follow the menu prompts or options.
 
SMS: Send an SMS from your cellphone or Vodafone Mobile Broadband Connection Manager with the Data Bundle size you want to buy to 100 (FREE) e.g. If you want to buy a MyMeg 250 Data Bundle, SMS "MyMeg 250" to 100.
 

Contract customers

24-month Data Contract or 24-month Data Top Up Contract (Broadband Standard, or Broadband Advanced). A 3G modem to connect to Vodacom data network is included for FREE.
